Kasai Rinkai Park (葛西臨海公園) is a metropolitan park facing Tokyo Bay located in Edogawa Ward, Tokyo. It is adjacent to Kasai Seaside Park via Kasai Nagisa Bridge. It first opened in 1989 and covers an area of about 188 hectares.

In the park, there are various facilities such as Kasai Rinkai Sea Life Park, an observation deck, a golf driving range, a cycling course, a BBQ area, a dog run, and more. You can also enjoy beautiful flowers such as hydrangea, Nemunoki, and Hakone Utsugi bloom. Depending on the season you come to visit, the flowers you can enjoy vary.

A lot of people visit this place, especially in the summer when you can have a BBQ in the park and also visit Kasai Rinkai Sea Life Park on the same day. It is a great way to spend time with friends and family.

Crystal View

You can overlook Tokyo Bay from the “Crystal View” in Kasai Rinkai Park. At the end of the main road that extends straight from Kasai Rinkai Park Station in the center of the park, a glass-walled box comes into view, which is the crystal view of the observation square. The walls all are made of glass.

In addition to the Chrystal view, Kasai Rinkai Park also has a Japanese garden, Kasai Rinkai Sea Life Park, and a bird garden. It’s a park where you can take a break near the sea.

The highlight of Kasai Rinkai Sea Life Park is that there is a huge tuna tank. More than 600 kinds of sea organisms can be seen at Kasai Rinkai Sea Life Park.

In the bird garden, there is a walkway rich in nature, and it is a paradise for birds. Come and feel the negative ions that will soothe you from the everyday stress.

How to get to Kasai Rinkai Park

There are three ways you can access Kasai Rinkai Park: by train (Keiyo Line), water bus, and Toei bus.

If you’re going by train, is an 11-minute walk from Kasai Rinkai Koen Station (JR Keiyo Line). This is the most conventional way to get there.

Another way you can get to this place is by the water bus. This water bus is available from “Ryogoku” or “Odaiba Kaihin Koen”.  You get off at “Kasai Rinkai Park”. This is an alternative way to get there, but mostly, it is for those who want to enjoy riding the water bus.

And lastly, you can also get to Kasai Rinkai Park via bus. There are buses that will take you to Kasai Rinkai Koen Station from Nishi-kasai Station, Ichinoe Station, and Kasai Station.

Fukagawa Fudodo (深川不動堂)

Naritasan Fukagawa Fudodo, located in Tokyo, is a significant branch of the famous Naritasan Shinshoji Temple in Chiba.

This Buddhist temple, dedicated to the fire god Fudo Myoo, is renowned for its striking architecture and fire rituals (Goma ceremonies). These rituals, where wooden sticks with prayers written on them are burnt, are believed to purify and bring blessings.
