Welcome to the Solaris Blog! ヾ( ʚ̴̶̷ .̫ ʚ̴̶̷ )ノ”
Ah, winter. The season that starts off beautiful and full of light, then drains the joy out of you, if you happen to live in a place where the air hurts your face. 💨❄️(。•́︿•̀。) On those bleak midwinter days, the memory of the holiday part of winter keeps us warm. And, for otaku, it’s the expectation for all the anime releases that gets us our waku waku on through the winter!
(✧ᗜ✧)One such expected release is the movie Spy × Family: Code White. It hasn’t arrived in western shores yet, but the trailer and the super cute 1/7 scale figure by eStream makes it feel like it’s already here! (っ^▿^)۶🍿
So, in anticipation for the upcoming movie, today we’re taking a look at the Shibuya Scramble figure of Anya Forger and her loyal dog, Bond!
10/10 Would Recommend!
But for those who haven’t watched Spy Family yet, here’s a little bit on why you should watch it.Basically speaking, this series is a super fun and light-hearted balance of slice of life, romantic comedy and espionage action. It follows the daily life and work of the Forgers, a most unusual family. They may all seem super prim and proper, but their pasts and true identities are rather sinister.
(・´ェ`・)
Loid Forger, the dad, is an expert spy who holds in his hands the delicate political balance between the nations of Westalis and Ostania.Yor Forger, the mom, is a literal femme fatale: a top-tier, bloodlusting assassin.Anya Forger, the daughter and star of the show, is a girl with an extraordinary ability to read people’s minds.Bond Forger, the family pet, is one gentle giant of a dog who also has psychic abilities.
Each episode has enough action to keep us interested, enough romance to keep us invested and, most importantly, more than enough of Anya’s antics to keep us laughing. All in all, it’s a fun and heartwarming series that makes you feel at home!
A Design Opportunity…
Seriously, this is a scene that should be in a snow globe. I don’t like to start off a post complaining, but honestly I find that Shibuya Scramble missed a huge opportunity to make a deluxe version of this scale figure inside a glass dome and an ornate base. Maybe it’s my age showing, since I am starting to enjoy doilies and knick-knacks displayed on the hearth in a Victorian fashion, but I like snow globes. And a snow globe with an anime theme is even better. (`ε´)
Maybe Megahouse could make one such figure in their Puchirama series? They may be small, but they’re super cool and detailed for their size! We actually unboxed and reviewed the Spy X Family Puchirama on our YouTube channel, so check that out!Plus, they’re snow-globe sized already. It’s a potential new product! Or a DIY opportunity, if you dare. (¬‿¬)
…But Still a Beautiful Scene by Itself!
However, nitpicking and personal preferences aside, I’ll admit that the swirling snow I so wish for is sort of redundant, because this scene is already complete! Besides, the combo of smol human + big doggo is a double whammy of kawaii enough to erase any sins.

First of all, Anya’s outfit gives away that they’re somewhere cold. Her little yellow purse paired with her stylish backpack shows it’s an ooting, and a fun one!
ヽ(゚∀゚ヽ)♪♪
This scene takes place in the movie that was released in December 2023 in Japan, Spy x Family: Code White. It’s still in theatres here in Japan, but it should be released in the rest of the world soon. So keep your waku waku on!
In this movie, the Forgers travel to the country of Frigis on a personal mission of culinary excellence. Of course, world politics always finds a way to trip up (pun intended (๑˃́ꇴ˂̀) ) their plans, and espionage virtuoso Twilight has to pull some shifts even while on holiday. As the name “Frigis” hints, it’s a wintry nation.
But snow is never a bad thing in the eyes of a child. And Anya, despite being extraordinary, is no exception: you can see the glimmer of wonder in her eyes! They have all the glitter and sparkle of a snowy cityscape.
Next to her, the giant dog Bond Forger stands guard but also takes part in the fun. He steps up carefully, avoiding Anya’s tiny snowman. As a good Forger family member, he may not seem like much at first sight, but underneath all that fluff is a fierce and loyal protector with a dark past!
( ̄︶ ̄ ;)
I personally love the little detail of Bond’s train pass hooked onto his bowtie collar. Good bois deserve to ride the train like everyone else! (-ᴥ-ʋ)
The base is also quite well made, simulating a wooden effect and complete with a brass plate, almost as if it were meant to be a snow globe, you know? No, I’m not letting that go. o(>< o)
The snow melting on the stone pavers almost reminds me of sugar glaze. And you can see the little detail of Bond’s paw print too! 🐾
As always, if it’s Shibuya Scramble, you can expect the highest level of detail, a scene you can admire from all angles. (´ ⌣`ʃƪ)
This cheerful winter duo is scheduled to be released in April 2025. Pre-orders are open in our store, and we have an Early Bird deal going on right now! If you pre-order soon, you get a 10% discount. You don’t need to look into the future like Bond to know that it pays to be prepared, especially when it comes to Shibuya Scramble figures... ¯\_(⇀﹏↼)_/¯
More of Anya and Bond
Still, maybe you’re hung up on the price (we covered this point on our YouTube channel, definitely check it out!) or the design.
Thankfully, figure makers abound, and the majority is pretty good. With a popular series such as Spy x Family, it’s not difficult to find something that fits both your taste and your budget. From cheeky nendoroids to fun 1/7 scales, their prize figure equivalents and even a figure that doubles as a block calendar and a HUGE Bond plushie, you can find the piece that’s missing from your Spy x Family display. (^▽^)♪
As always, we hope you enjoyed this one!
Borf! ヾ(^∇^)
